When they call it a 'reality' show, my BS detector cuts in. I'm very skeptical of so-called reality shows. And most, if not all paranormal shows are probably horse crap. I watch a lot of supposedly real paranormal videos on UA-cam. I'm pretty sure that most, if not all of them, are either faked or just misinterpretations.

This Word is still powerful in 2024. God is so faithful and merciful in His longsuffering toward us

The way I see it is that cuss words per se isn't sinful, but what are we thinking when we say them? It's cool to use profanity when we were in Jr high but that was so long ago and we've outgrown that. After a year or 2, it's not so cool anymore and we start to realize how stupid it really does sound. And yes, out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.

With my son I didn't even really feel pregnant...with my second son, I was sick and in pain, I got a migraine for the first time, and even had some slight bleeding a few times! As for sleeping, my first son didn't sleep like ever. We never slept until he was over a year old. My second one sleeps like a dream! He has been sleeping all night since he was 4 or 5 months old, and before that he only woke once or twice in the night.

My identity is constantly being tied to what I am doing with my life. I know I can’t be alone. My job is tricky at times and I am constantly treated with unkindness over things that I personally didn’t cause. Which makes it even harder to not take the things said to me personally. Which does not help me feel good about what my job is. I just have to remind myself to do my best each day. Put my best foot forward and remember that God sees all I do. Including if when people get rude with me, and I don’t respond in a kindly manner. He also sees the good. He sees it all. My life is happening the way he intends…and that is his plan. I need to take each day as a blessing. Thank God for my job that has been allowing us to live the way we live. Sorry for rambling but you really let God speak to me through you Kendra. Thank you. Kendra, you are wise! Growing older is a blessing and all the most of us do is complain about the “downfalls of getting older.” So over the last two years I have stopped coloring my hair. I did it because I wanted to have my natural hair color for a while before I start to get grays. I was about to turn 30 when I stopped and I had been coloring it since I was 11 years old. I am 32 now, and in love with my natural color hair. It has always been my plan to resume coloring it when it starts to go gray. Now you got me wondering-is that hurtful to God if I do that? I may be rethinking my plan. Thanks for opening my eyes to this. I have time to decide.

I get botox injections for migraines and it actually bothers me the way it makes certain parts of my facial muscles paralyzed. I have these beautiful 3 expression lines across my forehead and the injections make the lines start at my temple disappear in the middle and then reappear on the other temple. And then when I make a furrow brow look I can’t even move my eye brows. It’s an awful feeling. I dislike it so much. 😒❤️‍🩹

I struggled for months trying to delete my Facebook account, but I finally did last month after I was put in Facebook Jail. NEVER Going Back! I deleted Instagram & Tiktok not too long before. My life has been much more peaceful & bliss since then.

I use both literal and dynamic translations. I find using both types side by side can help me understand things I struggle to understand. I don't use a paraphrase.

There's a strong possibility that this young man is choosing to not follow the Christian faith. We are all born with free will and many are called but few are chosen. To add, many teens stray on a quest of self-discovery. The seeds of faith were planted; the prodigals do return. Your duty as a Christian is to pray for him; pray that he will find his way. The rest is judgement - who are we to cast stones and judge him because his sin is different than ours? Did you repent of your sins today? Bless him and move along to continue in God's work.

Oh boy, do I feel that struggle... my husband has been working from 3pm-1:30am. He only gets to see our son (18m) for a few hours before he has to nap, and by the time he's napping, he leaves for work. It's the same thing every day and on Sundays. I have felt overwhelmed and frustrated, pouring my heart out with tears sometimes to the Lord. I know at the right time, the Lord will change it. We're praying for it, and our church family also prays for us. Thank you for the encouragement Kendra ❤
